Ageing with Tech Festival 2026: together. digital. resilient.
The “Ageing with Tech Festival 2026” will take place on June 9 and 10, 2026, at the KörberHaus in Hamburg-Bergedorf. The event will focus on how digital resilience can help people aged 50 and older actively shape the digital transformation.
The conference program will examine key societal challenges at the intersection of aging and digitalization. Topics will include strategies for addressing polarization and disinformation, as well as ways in which digital tools can promote the engagement of older adults. The program will also explore the design of access points that strengthen digital participation and self-efficacy across generations.
About this event
The festival kicks off on Tuesday, June 9, at 7:00 p.m. with the “Tech for Society Slam – Digital Resilience: A Superpower!” The slam is open to the public and can be attended independently of the conference.
On Wednesday, the focus will be on contributions from practice and research, including role models and examples of good practice. These will demonstrate the conditions necessary for older adults to contribute their digital skills and take on social responsibility. The roles of organizations, local governments, policymakers, and the technology sector will also be examined.
In addition, ample time is scheduled for discussion and active networking.
Target audience
The event is aimed at professionals and decision-makers from educational organisations, local governments, politics, academia, and civil society, as well as companies and startups. It also welcomes interested older adults and a cross-generational audience.
