SUMMARY:EVOLVE - Digital Transformation Summit 2025
DESCRIPTION:EVOLVE – Digital Transformation Summit \n14 October 2025 | CCB \nThe 5th edition of EVOLVE – Digital Business Summit\, which will take place at the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon on 14 October\, is already under preparation. \nDespite the uncertain and profoundly changing global geopolitical and geoeconomic environment\, companies will need to continue to advance their digital transformation processes\, using the most advanced technological tools\, with a focus on artificial intelligence. \nWith this edition\, APDC now intends to showcase new cases of digital transformation\, led by companies operating in the national market\, and share the results\, benefits and challenges. Inspiring all organizations and contributing to accelerating the digital transition\, a priority goal that cuts across the entire economy\, is the main goal. \nThus\, technology companies\, together with client companies\, are challenged to present case studies already implemented\, under the following conditions: \n– APDC’s annual sponsoring companies have the opportunity to present a case of digital transformation in this new edition of EVOLVE at no cost; \n– Associated APDC companies may also submit tenders\, with at least one case study selected per EVOLVE; \n– All other companies interested in participating should consult sponsorship terms. \nThe application process is carried out by completing this QUESTIONNAIRE. \nAs in previous editions\, cases will be approved and integrated into the program on a first-come\, first-served basis. As part of the validation process\, submitted cases are selected weekly until the available slots are exhausted. \nAll applications must be approved by the Scientific Coordination of EVOLVE.

SUMMARY:Digital Skills Talks 14th episode ''Greener Skills\, Smarter Futures: Going Digital for the Planet'' with Wanda Saabeel and Francesca Borgonovi
DESCRIPTION:The Digital Skills and Jobs Platform is back with the 14th episode of the Digital Skills Talks\, a series of short and interactive monthly conversations with top experts from across Europe. These talks aim to highlight emerging digital technologies and the essential skills needed to navigate them. \nOn 15 July at 09:30 CEST\, the episode  ”Greener Skills\, Smarter Futures: Going Digital for the Planet” will focus on the digital and green transition\, often referred to as “twins”. \nMeet the experts:\nJoin us for a 30-minute discussion with experts in digital-skills frameworks\, ICT standards for education\, and data-driven global skills policy. \n\n\nWanda Saabeel\, Senior Consultant at EduSerPro\, a Dutch cooperative that aims to improve education and training by providing services in the field of VET and higher education for both private and public institutions \n\n\nFrancesca Borgonovi\, Head of Skills Analysis in the OECD Centre for Skills\, responsible for the biennial Skills Outlook publication. \n\n\nAbout the episode\nDigital transformation and sustainability are usually treated as parallel priorities—tech teams talk in bits and bytes\, while sustainability leads speak in tonnes of CO₂. What happens when we treat them as two sides of the same challenge? In this episode we unravel that very question\, examining how data-driven thinking\, systems design\, and circular-economy mind-sets can be braided into a single\, future-proof skill set. \nRegister here to join the episode. \nStay updated by following @DigitalSkillsEU on Facebook  and  X and subscribing to our newsletter!
