DESCRIPTION:CyberChess 2026 is an annual international cybersecurity conference that\, over the past decade\, has become a leading industry event not only in Latvia but across the Baltic region. From 13-15 October 2026\, the conference will bring together cybersecurity technical experts and policymakers\, representatives from the military sector\, internet and telecommunications service providers\, top-level domain registries\, and a broad-spectrum other industry professionals and stakeholders. \nThe conference is dedicated to cybersecurity at a time when geopolitical tensions and rapid digital transformation make security more critical than ever for governments\, businesses\, and society. The programme will address strategic and policy issues at both national and European level\, while also offering in-depth technical sessions and practical demonstrations. \nThe conference’s main sessions – the Opening and Closing sessions – will focus on strategic and policy topics under the banner of #CyberChess\, highlighting cybersecurity development at national and European level. \nParallel sessions will be structured into the following thematic tracks: \n\n#CyberStory – general industry trends\, insights\, and experience-sharing;\n#CyberShock – deep technical sessions and hands-on demonstrations;\n#BalticDomainDays – security\, threats\, protection\, and governance of the Domain Name System (DNS) in the Baltic region.\n\nThis year’s key topics include: \n\nBeyond Artificial Intelligence – understanding and securely leveraging AI;\nAttacks\, threat actors\, and defence;\nCyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)\, big data analytics\, and visibility;\nCyber-physical systems and physical security;\nDomain Name System (DNS) threats\, protection\, and governance.\n\nThe conference will also host CTF (Capture the Flag) competitions\, where teams of cybersecurity professionals and enthusiasts will compete over two days\, solving technical challenges in categories such as web security\, digital forensics\, cryptography\, and more. \nCyberChess 2026 is a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange\, strengthening international cooperation\, and shaping the future of cybersecurity solutions across the Baltic region and among NATO allied countries in Europe. In 2025\, the event welcomed more than 800 in-person participants from over 28 countries and generated more than 8\,000 online views\, demonstrating its growing international reach\, relevance\, and impact.
